Current and Proposed Layout and Use of Scroggie Park

Currently Scroggie Park looks like:

The boundary is marked in white and is extended to its furthest possible limits to the north, the south-east and the north-west in front of the existing clubhouse. The large square copes with at least three weekend matches every fortnight, midweek matches and midweek grass wicket practices throughout the playing season. There is a relatively new twin-wicket artificial practice area.

After Lower Scroggie is fully developed, Scroggie Park will play host to an average of two weekend matches every fortnight of the season. Because it offers the option of an additional grass pitch, it may also be used for some midweek matches and grass wicket practices to relieve pressure on the new square in Lower Scroggie, but the size of its square can still be reduced. The total playing area can also be reduced and standardised. The artificial practice area will remain as is.

And… that’s all he wrote.
