Falkland Activity Centre

This year Falkland Cricket Club has a unique opportunity to work with Falkland Estate in establishing a Falkland Activity Centre. The intention is that a new structure will incorporate two multi-activity rooms, kitchen, toilets and four unisex team changing rooms with showers and external entrances for general use. There will be disabled access to both multi-activity areas, kitchen and toilet facilities.

We have an unbelievably lucky option to take ownership of a prefabricated building that is only six years old. It is currently in Edinburgh and will be available to us in early September 2014. Photographs are available on the web pages listed under the “Existing Building” section at the foot of every page of this web site.

Sketch plans of how the existing structure is fitted out – and how it will be transformed into the Falkland Activity Centre are available on the web pages listed under the “Proposed Structure” section.

A recent survey of the playing areas used by Falkland Cricket Club threw up some interesting facts. Some changes are proposed and these are detailed on the web pages listed under the “Playing Areas” section.

Every page on this web site has the same navigational options at the foot of it. Clicking on “Home” under the miniature FCC logo at the end of the page will return you to this home page from any page on the site (or reload it if you are already here!). This allows you to jump around the whole web site in any order at all, but for the best experience (at least on the first visit) a logical step through the pages is recommended.

Here is the small print. If you have any problems with this site, report them to the club president. This site was last updated on Friday 25th April 2014 at 23:00pm.
